Justice

Justice is blind! Or, at least, that's what we were told. For ages, we were told that justice is made no matter the color of the skin, sex, age, religious beliefs, social status, political views, or any other criteria that might look discriminatory!

But is justice really blind? Or, the fact that justice is blind, isn't it a handicap? After all we do call blind people - person with disabilities or persons with special needs! So, the fact that justice is (let's say for the sake of the argument that it is) blind, is it a plus or a minus?

Unfortunately, in my opinion, justice just pretends that she's blind. Obviously, in some cases money and influence seem to cure her pretty well! But justice isn't meant only for rich.

It is unbelievable how for centuries the blind lady and the fight for equality went hand in hand. Fight for freedom, fight for women right, fight for black people's rights, fight for religious freedom, fight for freedom of speech... so much fighting... and the blind lady is "watching" all this!

I think she sees very well everything. I think she knows exactly the color of our skin...
