Genuine

What is that we’re looking for? Our lives…our entire lives, what is exactly the thing we’re looking for? You’re going to tell me that you want to find happiness, peace, joy, health, family, career, a treasure or whatever you want to find. But let me tell you what we are all looking for: GENUINITY. We’re looking for that specific genuine thing, so that we can say “This is truly genuine!” We had enough of fake things in our lives. We don’t even care whether it’s the hate or the love that is genuine. We just want people stop lying to us. We want something that is genuine. Because, ultimately, that is what truly matters. We have nothing if all we have is fake!
Maybe in the beginning we can work with some fake smiles, at our new job, or fake hugs from the people we think that they might not like us. But later on, we just want the mask to fall down and see the reality underneath. Sometimes this reality can be ugly, can have scarves, but at least it is the reality.
That is what we actually do, every day. We have developed our personal “device” of detecting what is genuine or fake. For some of us it is still very difficult to evaluate, for others it’s easier. But for all of us is a chase for the “gold”! It is hard work and a lot of effort must be put in, nevertheless, if we are really serious about finding the genuine thing, no work will come back with no result. How many of us we’re up to the fight? How many of us are ready to put aside our own masks so that the other could find the genuine figure? Or, at least, how many of us are convinced that we had enough of this fake world that makes us hide our feelings, figures, opinions underneath a cold and unexpressive mask?
